A Prayer Request

Mood: cynical
Music: Neil Young - The Needle and the Damage Done

Yes, I am a bad person, I have not updated in * checks dashboard * returns from dashboard * hoarsly whispers* : seven days! (Gah! I hate The Ring.) Maybe I'm not so much bad as I am lazy, so I appologize for what the Ever-Wonderful Christopher would call "my behavioural sloth". Sorry. I know life must be excrutiating without me, but it's okay. Really. You can put away your vodka and razor blades now. I'm back.

Yesterday while driving in the car, after growling at three consecutive red lights and voicing my displeasure at their failure to turn green the moment of my arrival, my mother informed me that I should pray for a smaller ego and bigger tits. My own mother!!
Anyways, tonight is our convert-a-friend event at CELL and I've been seriously considering asking the group to pray that I get a smaller ego and bigger tits -- Unfortunately, I can think of one or two people who might take offence to that who will be in my immediate vicinity this evening. Coincidence? (I think not.)

...Moving on.

I went to Owen Sound last weekend. In Owen Sound you can take a taxi from point A to point B for a flat rate of $5 and, knowing what I know now, I can't help but feel a little ripped off. (Guelph rates average at $8.40 just to get to Mikey's... those swindlers!) Anyways, in Owen Sound the cabs are painted white, red and blue, much like a law enforcement vehicle aka cop car. My world-wise 15-year-old delinquent brother scoffed at this dirty trick because the kids on drugs won't know weather to run to them or away from them. Ha ha.

Well, it's been fun procrastinating but I have a resume to write.

Ta Da!

If anybody knows why my spacing is weird, would they please be so kind as to enlighten me? Thanks!
Warmest regards,
Anne
