Lastnight I ventured to Kitchener with Spunki, The Maestro and Mikey's parents to support our good old GCVI improv team!! :D It was a good time had by all. GCVI got third out of five teams (bronze medal!!). I think we could have gotten silver, but then again everyone there was so good and put sooo much energy into it... So the judges were pretty fair. :) My two favorite performances were GC's guardian peacock performance... hehe and one by some other school (Preston, maybe??) which involved a flaming portrayal of popcorn popping! lol! The Maestro became quite preoccupied with the 'boneable timekeeper', and I can't say I blame him. However, I found another object on which to fixate my attention... 0:) lalala!

...more coming -- NOW! Okay, right now it's about 20 after 12 and I'm here to finish what I started! (there was some hair to be washed and some South Park to be watched. hehe!) Today was one of those sleep in till noon and bum around the house days. And it went well, with the exception of two things. One - that annoying creature with DNA similar to my own waking me up to demand a BLT, which, of course, didn't happen and I had to threaten him many a time with mutilation before he would leave my room. And Two - The Mother blowing up over Jake the Snake's $104 phone bill to Toronto. I'd say she handled it very well. After all, if it was MY kid, I would probably be busying myself in the backyard with a shovel right now, so I could hide the body.
Anywhoo! I watched The Virgin Suicides tonight. And it was smashing, baby. AbSoLuTeLy smashing! I definitely have some Lux and Cecilia tendencies of my own. *wink* . . .Cecilia made a cool noise when she landed on the fence. *hums* hm hm hmm... but to not be stupid for a second. I really liked it, and the music was good - some of the better music I've heard on a movie. Not quite in the same class as Lord of the Rings, but tied with Cold Mountain in my opinion.
